Design SAS Coffee Cups!

Scandinavian design emerged in the 1950s in the three Scandinavian countries: Denmark, Norway and Sweden, as well as Finland. It is a design movement characterized by simple designs, minimalism, functionality, and low-cost mass production which has become popular within a short time period.

Supporting this, Scandinavian Airlines started a competition to design new coffee cups used on SAS flights since they began serving free coffee and tea to all passengers. The winner will get 100.000 Eurobonus and his/her design will be used to serve coffee and tea to more than 70.000 passengers daily! I think this is a clever advertising campaign for a Nordic company. What do you think?
